We tend to avoid taking our personal paths, because our own paths are messy. We take the paths of our parents, our significant others, our peers, because they are paved and so much easier to navigate. But the thing is, at some point, the path of others will no longer be an option for you. Whether you’re 23 and fresh out of college, or 50 years old, miserable in a job you hate…you reach points in life where you must ask yourself, “What path do I take now?” This was the question that ultimately lead me to discovering my passion and taking the leap into personal training.
My love for science, sports, and the human body, is no secret. At the age of six I started competitively swimming. By eleven I was participating in sprint triathlons and attending elite science camps. At fifteen I started teaching others the power of movement through swimming lessons, and at twenty-one was the captain of my collegiate swim team. My passion for leading guided me through promotions in jobs, nominations for awards, and titles like Manager.
My aspirations as a personal trainer lie in helping people find their own fitness path. Using proven techniques and personal experience I hope to empower others to become the healthiest, happiest versions of themselves. I believe that the possibility in human potential is limitless. So, whether you are an elite athlete struggling with nagging injury, or have neglected your own personal health, I will work to find the right balance for you!
