I started Syracuse Sweat Club around a year ago. I’m a master’s athlete and I’ve was intimidated by CrossFit for many years. I made the decision to walk through the door and give it my best. I have started to transform my physical being but what I most proud of is my strength and ability to push myself. I struggled with vertigo before I started CrossFit and with the help of the coaches, I now can perform a handstand (unbelievable I’m upside down). One word of advice to all; especially to the older women, give Syracuse Sweat Club a chance…be consistent, scale the workouts if needed, speak up if you’re unsure of a movement, and most of all have fun. I would rather give Syracuse Sweat Club my money than a doctor or hospital, it’s my preventative medicine.
Wonderful gym, beautiful people, powerful coaches, talents athletes and charities with the community. Best place in Syracuse NY. The most clean and peaceful gym. We love be part of CFS family. We love you guys🥰🥰🥰
The best thing I could have done for my health is join Syracuse sweat club. The community and support is absolutely amazing. The coaches are knowledgeable, encouraging, and motivating. The gym is clean and we'll maintained. I just can't say enough how much I love being a part of this establishment ❤️❤️ I have so much love for every single person there!!!
"Professional, friendly, reasonable prices and policies." I wrote that shortly after joining. I think I was being cautious, thinking it couldn't be as great as it seemed. It's been eight months now, and what I found on day one is exactly what it is today. I have achieved so much, I feel great all the time, I can do so much more than I ever could before. I am 54 years old, significantly overweight, and have never been an athlete in any way, but now I have a goal of being competitive within a few years. Even though I came in very unfit, I've never had an injury from Crossfit. I think it's obvious that this is a gym for serious athletes, but it is also a gym for me and people like me. Kudos to Dan, Ellen, and all the coaches for their dedication and expertise. If you think you are too old or too out if shape, come here and change your life. Update! I wrote that four years ago. Since then I’ve been through cancer treatment and I’m still going strong. I’m glad I was for before I got sick because I bounced back quickly. CrossFit Syracuse has maintained its standards and keeps improving
I have had a great experience being a part of this community. The facility has plenty of room and equipment, and is always clean. The coaching staff is incredible, and does a great job of identifying individual needs.
Being a enthusiast of CrossFit, I can say without a doubt this place has it going on. I’m sad to be leaving after a year spent here. I mainly want to comment on the coaching, as I believe most CrossFit gyms are lacking in the area. All the coaches here understand the movements and push you in the direction you need to go. Be it small adjustments to bigger scales they know what you need. The facilities are top notch! Open gym always available (even on Sunday’s). Overall a great gym you won’t be disappointed.
Syracuse Sweat Club. I think I almost died here at least 7 times from a heart attack but I look better naked so 5/5 would recommend
